Suggestions welcome.Įdited by hamluis, 20 January 2016 - 02:47 PM. Sorry for the long post, but that’s about as simple as I can make it. The desktop icons remain, but clicking on them shows “file has been changed or moved.” Reinstalled that, rebooted, and the previous mentioned software disappeared again except for the new MS Office. I was still having problems with my backup security, CrashPlan41. I then reinstalled the missing programs, but updated MS Office to the 2016 version. It said Restore Successful, but it did not bring the programs back. I tried Systems Restore to a previous date. Shortly after, I began to lose programs such as Roxio Disc Creator, Pro Show Gold, a plugin application for Photoshop, an app to calibrate monitors, and finally the whole MS Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. It looked like a legit program so I let the install complete. I hit cancel and searched the Internet for whatever Enterprise was. A window popped up saying it was installing Microsoft Enterprise. It started a few days ago when I clicked on Outlook to check email. Never experienced a problem like this on Windows 7 before.
